Luke 15: 1-7
Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, "This Man receives sinners and eats with them." So He spoke this parable to them, saying: " What man of you, having hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbours, saying to them, "Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!" I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentence.
1. Concern about the Needs of sinners
They need acceptance from people and also to listen to God's Words. They should also believe that there are always a place for them in heaven.
2. Concern about the attitude of Believers
How's your attitude after you believed? You can sin too you know. Just like Pharisees. Their attitude similar. They think that they are right, and still exist today! They only know how to criticise, but not know how to reflect on what they had/have done. They think they know the laws of God but they do not know the essence of it.It's wrong to think that : Sinners -> Believers -> Acceptance -> Complete
It's right to think that : Jesus Accepts -> Complete
The worse enemy is actually yourself. Where you're filled with jealousy, selfishness, arrogance, laziness and etc. These are actually causes of the problems in many churches!
Believers cant understand those who repent, because they do not accept them. eg. A murderer in Taiwan. Before he was hanged, he believed in God and was baptised. However, many believers do not believe he has the rights to become one of them.
We, the believers, has apparently forgot Faith, Hope, Love which are the core values for us, christians.
3. God's Wishes
All these concerns are God's wishes.
For sinners to repent and also for those self proclaimed Believers to repent.
God will search for the lost ones Himself.
Conclusion, how can God give us his blessings when we are always worried what we give to God are too much? We always hold this idea "Ask for Nothing" however, it should be "Keep Nothing".
